What is Augmented Reality(AR) And how does AR work

Augmented reality (AR) also known as Kudzi, is a live direct or indirect view of a physical, real-world environment whose elements are augmented (or supplemented) by computer-generated sensory input such as sound, video, graphics or GPS data.( Source : Augmented reality - Wikipedia)

How Does "Pokemon Go" Work with Augmented Reality

This part is actually super simple: Like pretty much every AR game, "Pokemon Go" uses your phone's camera to place an image of a Pokemon within your surroundings, and the GPS, accelerometer, and compass give the game an idea of which direction your phone is pointing toward.

Target Tracking

Augmented Reality Target Tracking test showcase done at Srushti Labs. Srushti created an AR target tracking mockup project. AR target tracking is widely used for Augmented Reality based games, presentations and interactive presentations.

Object Tracking

Prototype for AR - Object Tracking. This method tracks the moving objects with assigned 2d/3d animated content. It also replaces the existing object with assigned 3d prop in real time. Object Tracking is recommended for consumer oriented promotions, events and product launches.

Future of large screen technologies

People go to the Grand Canyon to see the most visually stunning natural canyon in the world. But they come to Times Square to see the most digitally striking canyon in the world. Yes, that’s the impact of the largest and most expensive digital billboard in Times Square. The new screen stands eight stories tall and is nearly as long as a football field, biggest and the only one to cover an entire city block.
One of the oldest forms of advertising, billboards are attracting new attention as digital displays allow for new levels of real-time interactivity. So as the Read more...

What is Holographic 3D?

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. But when a picture is more than a visual, it becomes an experience worth a million! Such is the beauty of 3D images. And a technique called Holography further enhances it. We’ll tell you how? Holography makes it is possible to reconstruct 3D images using holograms.
A hologram is the recording then reconstruction of all the light-field information of an object. In other words, if you take the object you want to display, illuminate it with a laser, and interfere this scattered light with another laser, a recording of.....Read More

Augmented Reality

Pictures in a book coming to life, walking inside a 3D virtual room, moving paintings, holographic displays of information… sounds like a scene from a sci-fi movie, or a page ripped out of a Harry Potter novel, doesn’t it? Well, Augmented Reality is no less than magical. Now you can actually experience all of this, with Augmented Reality.
Augmented Reality is being perceived as “the technology of the future”. It’s been in..See More

USE OF IMMERSIVE MEDIA

Have you ever been so engrossed in a book that you felt like you were living in that world. Immersive media technology is exactly like that, except here you don’t just imagine but actually see and feel that environment around you.
The Immersive Media immerses you into a new environment, that’s where it got its name from. Immersive Media has pushed the boundaries of virtual reality. It has...Read More
